From Downtown Dallas:

  • Take I-30 East
  • Continue I-30 towards Texarkana

What is Eastfield College?
Eastfield College is a two year college, granting associate degrees. The college is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges. ESL classes are currently being offered through Continuing Education.

How do I enroll?
Pick up an application packet from the English Language Learning Advisement Center, ELLA (C112). Complete the application; return it to ELLA for processing.

When do classes start?
Schedules for upcoming classes are located on the Internet.

How long do the classes last?
The English as a Second Language classes last from 10 to 16 weeks depending on the days and hours that they meet. For example, if the class meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 p.m. until 7:55 p.m., the class meets 16 times, for approximately a total of 30 hours. If the class meets on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the class meets 10 weeks, for a total of 30 hours.

How many classes can I take?
You can take English as a Second Language at your level and any other additional ESL classes that are at your level.
