Patricia Falvey was born in County Down, Northern Ireland, and lived there and in England before immigrating to the United States at the age of twenty. Formerly a managing director with an international financial services firm, she now devotes herself full-time to writing and teaching. She divides her time between Dallas, Texas, and County Armagh, Northern Ireland. Her first novel, The Yellow House, was published in 2010, and her second novel, The Linen Queen, came out last year. A long-time member of The Writer's Garret, she is a frequent speaker at bookclubs around the country and has led numerous workshops.
