The Writing Center

Writing tutors will be available the following hours:
Maymester:
Monday- Thursday 10 am-6 pm and Friday 10 am-2 pm.
Summer I and II:
Monday-Thursday 9 am-6 pm and Friday 9 am-3 pm

The Writing Center is an academic support service program that provides one-on-one assistance to students who are enrolled in English, Reading, Writing, or Language courses at EFC. All the services provided are at no extra expense to the students. Some of the services provided are tutoring, review sessions, and supplemental instruction.

The mission of the Writing Center is to give students the tools to become independent learners and to support faculty teaching.

For us to provide quality assistance, please:

• Come prepared with as much information as possible about your assignments.
• Allow for enough time to complete assignments.
• Give your assignment and your TWC visit your best efforts.

Please contact us to schedule a tour/orientation, we can give the orientation in the writing center or in your classroom.
