Follow these steps to enroll at Eastfield College

Step 1: Admissions

Online Application

    • You will be assigned a 7 digit student ID at the completion of the online application, which you will need to setup your eConnect account. This should be setup immediately to avoid delays.
  • Students who have not attended a DCCCD campus for more than 12 months must submit an updated online Application for Admission to be considered for re-admission.

Transcripts and Test Score Reports

  • New-to-College Students

Submit official high school transcript or GED to the Admissions Office immediately after applying to the college. This is a mandatory requirement to receive Financial Aid.  Recent SAT/ACT/TAKS/STAAR scores can be submitted to the admissions office to determine whether assessment testing will be required. If you do not have any of these documents, you will be referred to the assessment center before registering for classes.

  • Transfer/Returning Students

Submit official transcripts from all non-DCCCD colleges attended immediately after applying/re-applying for admission. This is a mandatory requirement in order to receive Financial Aid and a DCCCD requirement. Financial Aid students will not receive an award of any kind without submission of a high school transcript or previous college transcript(s).

Submit Proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

  • The Texas Education Code, § 51.9192, subchapter Z, establishes the requirement for bacterial meningitis vaccination for the college students under the age of 30 to submit evidence of being immunized against meningococcal meningitis.
  • Please see the catalog at www.dcccd.edu/meningitis for more information about the state of Texas’ requirements, deadlines, exceptions and exemptions.

Note: All transcripts and proof of meningitis must be submitted before meeting with an advisor.  If you do not have transcripts to turn in, you will need to take an assessment (approximately 4 hrs.).
