The new employee grievance procedure addresses employee complaints and concerns. It also outlines the process and provides the employee grievance form (PDF - 84KB) that is required to resolve them.

The employee grievance procedure has been changed to:

• Offer a more direct approach
• Encourage communication
• Provide employees and supervisors with a shorter turnaround

The HROG document includes definitions and step-by-step guidelines. It details the responsibilities of the employee and the location Human Resources department, which will:

• Meet with the employee before the initiation of the grievance process, to provide guidance and information on policy and procedures.
• Visit with the employee regularly during the duration of the process to insure the integrity of the process.
