Welcome to the Eastfield College Academic Advising Office!

The mission of Eastfield College Academic Advising is to foster successful teaching and learning experiences.  Academic advising engages students in developing academic pathways and educational plans for life-long learning.

At the heart of the Eastfield Advising is our team of experienced and professional advisors who are here to provide academic and career advising in a comfortable and cooperative setting.

Our students receive personal attention as they are guided through their first and second year. Our advisors assist students in creating a personalized plan to help them discover their interests, goals, and talents and to find an academic path that's right for them.

Note: Last appointments/walk-ins taken at 6:30pm (M-Th) and 4:30pm (Fridays) to ensure we are given adequate time to meet the individual needs of our students. If you arrive after 6:30pm and there are students waiting before you, you will be asked to reschedule or to come back another time.

Announcements and Dates:

January 14, 2015 - Last day to register for classes for Spring 2015 term (This applies to students with a GPA of 2.0 or higher)

February 2, 2015- Last day Financial Aid will pay for Spring classes

Last Day To Drop/Withdrawal (Flex term courses may be different check your schedule): Thursday, April 16, 2015

Priority Registration Begins: Tuesday, April 21, 2015

Regular Registration Begins: Monday, April 27, 2015

Probation Registration Begins: Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Maymester Policy

Students may only register up to 4 credit hours during the Maymester. NO student will be allowed to add more than 4 credit hours.

Possible Scenarios for Maymester:

  1. Register for a 4 credit hour course (example: BIOL 1408). No more courses can be added.
  2. Register for a 3 credit hour course (HIST 1301) and a 1 credit hour course (PHED 1164). This is allowed because the student registered for 4 credit hours.

NO probation students will be allowed to register for Maymester.

Students cannot register for classes after the class has started.

NO petition or appeals will be approved for a student requesting more than 4 credit hours during the Maymester.

Attention ALL Probation Students

All probation students (Students with a GPA under 2.0) are required to complete certain assignments while on probation. Click here for the probation page.

Walk-in Days only:

Students there are times when the advising office only takes walk-ins due the certain deadlines and peak periods during the academic year.

Thursday, June 25, 2015 (drops only-Summer I)
Thursday, July 30, 2015 (drops only- Summer II)
