  Conrad Duffy, Assistant Coach
Former Missouri Valley College standout, Conrad Duffy, joined the Eastfield College coaching staff in September 2005.

Duffy comes to Eastfield from Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming, where he coached 5A football and wrestling from 2001- 2004. He also served as the Director of Baseball Instruction/ Operation for MVP Baseball Academies in both Gillette and in Flower Mound, TX in 2004-2005.

In 2002, he took over the high school/legion program in Gillette, winning the North Conference Championship in 2003 with a 15-1 record-- the team’s first baseball championship since 1937. As head coach, he was responsible for fundraising, stadium maintenance, coordinating and organizing every practice, game scheduling, managing all in-game operations along with providing information and contacting colleges and universities for college-bound players.

From 1998-2000, Duffy was the assistant coach for the high school/legion baseball team, the Great Falls (MT) Stallions, then was named head coach of the Great Falls Electrics in 2001.

While at Missouri Valley College, Duffy competed in both football and baseball. He was a two year starter at nickel back and a member of the Heart of America Conference Championship Football team in 1999 that advanced to the national playoffs. During that spring, Duffy was the starting second baseman for the Vikings baseball team and poised a threat hitting in the top of the lineup.

He finished his career with a batting average of .338, posting an Oklahoma Intercollegiate Conference best .402 with 21 doubles and five home runs in ’98, while attending Panhandle State University. Duffy attended invitational free agent workouts with the Angels and Reds rookie level minor league teams in Montana and Oklahoma.

An outstanding student both on and off the field, Duffy represented the Vikings’ football/baseball squad as an Academic All-American holding a 3.73 GPA.

Duffy has served as a winter/summer camp assistant coach at Notre Dame, Kansas, University of Texas – Arlington, and Mississippi State.

A 2001 graduate of Montana State University with a bachelor of science in Health Promotion/ Education, Duffy and his wife, Jacinda, currently reside in Plano.
