Former players update
Marcus Brister at D1 Southeast Missouri State had 19 Points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assist versus Bradley University.
Kevin Harvey at University of St. Mary (KS) had 25 points versus Haskell University and is currently their leading scorer this season.
Kevin Arnold at Northeastern State University scored 11 points versus Oklahoma University.
Ronnie Dodd at the University of the Ozarks is a starter had 11 points and five rebounds versus Hendrix College.
Anthony Wells at The Master's College had 12 points and 8 rebounds versus Northwest Christian University.
Dustin Morett has transferred from the University of the Ozarks to continue to play basketball for University of Texas at Tyler University.
Eastfield Basketball moves to #8 in the National NJCAA Poll
The Eastfield Harvesters are ranked eighth in the NJCAA Division III Poll for the week of November 15. See the poll.

Congratulations to former Harvester basketball player Kevin Arnold who recently signed to play for Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.
Local B-ballers Sign with Eastfield College
Eastfield College Head Basketball Coach Anthony Fletcher announced recently that he has signed two new players to his 2011-12 roster. Preston Smith of Mesquite High School and Chris Collins of Allen have signed letters of intent to play basketball at Eastfield College in the fall.
The 6’6”/185 pound Smith will graduate from Mesquite High School this year. Chris Collins graduated from Allen High school in 2009.
Coach Fletcher stated, "I am very excited about adding these young men to my program. They will make a strong program even stronger!

Arnold named NJCAA All American
Kevin Arnold was selected as NJCAA All American. Arnold becomes the third All American in 3 years for the Harvester. Arnold, follows Grady Green (2009) and Marcus Brister (2010).
Arnold was #3 in the nation in scoring with 676 points scored, #2 in the nation in made free throws with 160 made.
2010-2011 Summary
Eastfield Harvesters end the season with a loss in the MAC conference tournament championship game. The game marked the third consecutive season that the Harvesters participated in the championship game. Eastfield finished 19-13 on the season and has put together five consecutive years with a winning record and have been nationally ranked #1, #2, or #3 in the nation for the past four years.

The Eastfield Men's Basketball team has risen to #2 is the latest NJCAA Poll dated November 23.
Former Harvester Drafted in NBA Developmental League
Former Harvester William “Rece” Hampton was drafted in the 8th round of the NBA D-league this month. Rece is playing for the Frisco Legends which is the Dallas Mavericks minor league team. Frisco is in their first season with the development League.
