Phlebotomy Essentials - $315.00

This course will cover Anatomy & Physiology of the circulatory system, specimen collection, handling, and processing and laboratory operations. Methods of Venipuncture and Dermal Puncture (blood collecting techniques) use of vacutainers, Syringes, Butterflies & Lancets for finger and heel sticks, medical terminology. Lab reports, dipstick urinalysis, oral & written communications, interpersonal relations, use and care of centrifuge, safety and disposal techniques, regulations, infection and quality control procedural, application and training. (Phlebotomy training arm will be used) 10 WEEK COURSE.

Clinical - Phlebotomist

Phlebotomy Clinical - $610.00

This course places students at clinical sites, providing supervised experience in the performance of venipuncture. This course teaches patient interaction and application of universal precautions, proper collection techniques, specimen handling, and data management. Upon completion, students should be able to safely perform procedures necessary for specimen collections on patients in medical laboratories, clinics and hospitals. (120 hours and 100 successful venipunctures) 3 WEEK COURSE.
