Let your child get creative this summer in an Art and Drama camp at Eastfield College! Two different options for your child to stimulate their brains in a way they aren’t able to during the school year. During their half day of art, campers will use different techniques taught by a professional artist to make their own precious pieces of art(we are not talking about cardboard and cotton balls here, folks), and will even present their works in an art gallery reception at the end of the week. During the drama portion of the day, campers will collaborate to write their own theatrical production, create costumes and set pieces to help tell their original story to the audience. They will learn all aspects of theatre- performance and technical, while having the time of their lives!

Instruction in classical and acoustic styles is available for students of all ages and levels of experience! Classes meet in the fall, spring, and summer, with registration by the semester.
Beginners' classes are offered for ages 7-11 and 12-18 – no prior guitar experience required. Students learn the basics of how to play the guitar and how to read sheet music. Playing music as a group is emphasized, but solo performance is encouraged; small-group instruction enables each student to receive individual attention. The student who applies him- or herself will leave these courses with a strong foundation.
Private half hour lessons are available for students age 7 and up (mature six year olds will be allowed on a case-by-case basis), and for all levels of experience, from the beginning student to the advanced. Because these lessons are one-on-one, they are individually tailored to the student, from the music they learn to the pace at which they learn it. Reading sheet music will be heavily encouraged, as will efficient technique, for the purpose of playing the music you love with ease.
