GED Preparation: Level II - DLEZ 1000 $85.00
The instructor will advise and guide students individually concerning the reading, writing, and math
topics to review on their own between classes to prepare for the GED. Test-taking tips will be
shared by a knowledgeable instructor, so students will have good test strategies and confidence.
Official GED Practice Tests will be available for students to practice their test-taking skills in a
timed session.

Students will work with an instructor in a classroom setting for reading and writing improvement to prepare to be successful in more difficult GED courses. Focus is on the GED Reading and Language Arts, Writing exams. This course will help develop and sharpen the writer’s mechanics, usage, and sentence structure, including how to write good paragraphs.

This skills-based math course will help students who are preparing for the GED Mathematics test from basic math thru fractions and decimals. Students will also work with an instructor in a classroom setting to review how each type of math problem is solved. Curriculum is based on students’ needs to prepare them for the GED Mathematics test. Test-taking tips will be shared by a knowledgeable instructor, so students will have good test strategies and confidence. Prerequisites: Minimum age 15 or high school sophomore status
This course will review specific test-taking strategies as well as the math fundamentals and competencies that are tested on THEA, ACT, SAT, and GRE (Graduate Records Examination), college entrance examinations. Emphasis will be placed on understanding and practicing actual math test problems to raise test scores. TEXTBOOKS (choose 1 book based on the test you are taking: THEA, ACT, SAT, or GRE)
