Topics include: discussion of how movement and multi-sensory experiences used in learning influence brain development and retention; practice active play techniques to develop speaking, listening, reading and writing; plan theme-based lesson revolving around a book; develop teacher-made materials to support learning process.

Toddler and Preschool Guidance - CDEC 2000   $35.00
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/CHILD CARE PROVIDER/ASSISTANT
One-day, 7-hour workshop approved for annual continuing education licensing of current child care providers. Topics include: video observation, recording, and discussion of children under the age of six  behaviors and misbehaviors;  discussion of child development, environment, planning and relationships; student demonstration of  appropriate guidance strategies, techniques, and communication that encourage  a child’s independence and self control.
