Paul Greco, Peter Ligon, Jessica McCambly and Sunny Sliger
February 19 - March 23
Reception: Thursday, March 1, 6-8PM
|Sunny Sliger, Antwerp, 2006, collage on paper.|
This exhibition focuses on artists who use paper as their primary medium. Paper is the surface upon which Jessica McCambly creates minimal and ephemeral forms. Paul Greco uses paper as a support and collaged images in his compositions of recontextualized nostalgic figures. Peter Ligon creates straightforward and stylish plein air drawings of otherwise ignored neighborhood signs and structures. Sunny Sliger uses a background of paper for her layered, patterned and tightly arranged elements of found and reformed materials.
