Rising Star in the Community
Being a part of Rising Star means giving back to the community
as the community has provided the monies for the program. Students
are asked to perform volunteer or participate in some community
service event. With the majority of scholarships requiring students
to have some type of volunteer/community service, these acts not
only help the student to obtain additional monies, but nurtures
them as a person.
