Regina L Brown
Accounting Professor & Department Coordinator
What can I offer you? I offer students over 13 years of classroom instructional experience and over 10 years of corporate accounting experience. I believe that every student is capable of success in the classroom and beyond. My role as an educator is to motivate and support, empower and encourage, commit and believe, and to set high standards. Student success is established through the use of innovative instructional methods, exposure to industry professionals, community service with the Internal Revenue Service, and the development of leadership and team building skills in the Accounting Club. I am committed to excellence and the development of accountable and ethical accounting students who are fully equipped to become future leaders in today’s marketplace. My commitment is shown in my passion for teaching and in the time I make myself available outside of classes.
What do I expect from students? I expect students to be: in attendance daily, open to learning new things, prepared for class instruction, active participates, and cooperative. To be successful students must have a commitment to: learning course objectives, meeting or exceeding deadlines, working as team players, and being proactive by seeking help when needed.
What advice can I share with students from my experience?
