Requesting Access Services

The Eastfield College policy to comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) includes the provision of appropriate auxiliary aids and services to students with disabilities to ensure effective communication and access to the educational process.

In order to give sufficient time to evaluate your request for an accommodation, we recommend that your request for semester length services be submitted at least 30 days prior to the first day of class.  We recommend requests for additional services be submitted at least 3 working days prior to the date the service is needed.
