Information Sessions

To become a student at Gateway to College, your first step is to learn how our program operates. To do so, we provide “Information Sessions” the first week of every month. Here, students, parents, and guardians meet with GtC staff to learn the program model, history, and success of this innovative educational resource. In addition to the information shared, prospective students also begin the assessment process to see if they qualify for this competitive program.

The Information Session is a three day experience:

Day One: General Information, Q & Answer Session, Adult Placement Indicator Assessment
Day Two: Reading Comprehension and Grammar Assessment
Day Three: Mathematics and Essay Assessment

Make sure to reserve a place at an Information Session by calling the Gateway to College information line at (972) 860-7129 or emailing gatewaytocollege@dcccd.edu.  You cannot attend an information session unless you have reserved a space.
