In compliance with the “Timely Notice” provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Police and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, Eastfield College Police is giving notice of an alleged criminal action reported to have occurred near the Eastfield College main Campus

Reported Offense:

Armed Robbery in North Dallas with Police Officers said the suspects fired upon a squad car as it pursued the getaway vehicle. Authorities lost the vehicle, which was found abandoned in the 4300 block of Motley Drive. 

Suspects:

2 Males dressed in all black.

On June 17, 2014 at approx.: 21:40, Sgt. Brandon Boney and Cpl. Nona Titus made contact with DPD officers at 4300 Motley Dr. DPD officer advised Sgt. Boney Mesquite and DPD officers were looking for 2 males in all black clothes with long guns.  Sgt. Boney advised DPD we were going to go on police activity lockdown. at approx. 21:50 Sgt. Boney made the announcement to Eastfield College thru the fire PA system we were on a Police activity lockdown.  The all clear was given at 23:05.
