The Eastfield College Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Eastfield College.  Demonstrating the best of Eastfield College, Ambassadors promote student success, diversity, and build strong meaningful relationships with students, staff, faculty and community members.  Successful candidates enjoy working with people, are dedicated to cultivating a campus culture of inclusiveness, and are excited about sharing their experiences at Eastfield Collge with others.

Ambassador responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Represent Eastfield College at college and community events
• Promote student events and programs
• Conduct individual and group campus tours upon request
• Assist new students in the enrollment process
• Serve as a peer mentor for Eastfield College students

Service Commitment Period:  2012-2013 Academic year
Time Commitment:  Student Ambassadors must be able to fulfill an average of 10-15 hours per month assisting with various responsibilities.  Some events may take place off campus, in the early mornings, evenings or weekends.
Personal contribution:  Students must reliable transportation for those times the college cannot provide it (parking/mileage will be reimbursed).  Students must also have khaki slacks, a white shirt, black dress shoes, and a black belt.  A navy blue blazer will be provided along with a tie for men and a scarf for women.
Candidate requirements:

• Must be a student good standing with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Must have completed a minimum of 12 hours at Eastfield College
• Must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership and involvement in campus life
