Eastfield Signs All-State Athlete
Eagle Staff Report
Two Lady Owls selected to volleyball all-state team
Anderson-Shiro H.S. placed a pair of volleyball players on the Texas Girls Coaching Association All-State team.

Senior outside hitter Emily Borski and senior defensive specialist Rachel Brandt were named to the Class A all-state team.

The senior tandem helped lead the Anderson-Shiro Lady Owls to the area round of the Class A playoffs before falling to Goodrich in five games. Anderson finished 23-12.

Eastfield College Volleyball Player Receives Special Recognition

Eastfield College Lady Harvester Volleyball player Misty Tarbet, of Garland, was recently named a National Junior College Athletic Association All-American First Team. Misty is the first volleyball player in the history of Eastfield's volleyball program to be an All-American. The sophomore was also previously named to the MAC All-Region Team and All-Conference Team.

November 4, 2004 - All- Conference Players
Two Volleyball team members were named to All-Conference teams. Misty Tarbet was chosen for the MAC All-Region Team and First All-Conference Team. Alyssa Maddox was named to MAC Second All-Conference Team. Christa Hargraves, Jocelyn Lane, and Deanna Webb were given MAC Honorable Mentions. See our press release for more information.
