Audrey Glasscock

Audrey Glasscock enters her fifth season as Head Coach of the Eastfield College volleyball program.  In 2011 the Lady Harvesters finished second in the Metro Athletic Conference with a 6-2 record and a 15-16 overall record.  The Lady Harvesters were nationally ranked in the top ten for DIII volleyball, six out of the nine polls posted by the NJCAA with third being their highest ranking this past season.  

In her six seasons as a Head Coach, Glasscock has produced three NJCAA All-Americans, 11 First Team All-Conference picks, 11 Second Team All-Conference picks, seven All-Region athletes as well as two NJCAA Academic All-Americans, one of whom received Distinguished Academic All-American recognition.  Also, nine of Glasscock’s former athletes have continued their playing careers at four year institutions, five at the NCAA DII level, one at the NCAA DIII level and three at the NAIA level.        

Prior to becoming the head coach here at Eastfield College she served as the Head Volleyball Coach at Vernon College from 2006-2008.  During her two seasons as the head coach at Vernon College the Chaparrals made it to the NJCAA Region V Tournament finishing third in the tournament in 2006 and fourth in 2007.   

In 2003 Audrey received a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science degree from Texas State University and then in 2005 received her Master of Education degree.  While completing her Master degree at Texas State University she served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Department from 2003-2005.

Prior to transferring to Texas State University in 2003 Audrey played volleyball from 1998-2000 and basketball from 1998-1999 for Sul Ross State University.

Coach Glasscock is the daughter of Dr. Selma Glasscock, Assistant Director of Welder Wildlife Foundation, and B.C. Glasscock from Sinton Texas.  She is the oldest of two children.  Her sister, Jessica Glasscock is the current Education Coordinator of Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute located in Fort Davis and currently resides in Alpine Texas.
