Keys To Successful Transfer To Four Year Colleges/Universities

As a general rule:

If you have less than 30 credit hours, you will enter the University as a freshman. This is what you will need to apply.

• ACT/SAT score
• 2.0 GPA or higher
• High School transcript and rank in class
• Any college transcript(s)
• Completed application form
• Application fee or waiver documentation

If you have 30 credit hours of more, you will enter the University as a sophomore. This is what you will need to apply.

• 2.0 GPA or higher
• High School transcript
• College transcript(s)
• Completed application form
• Check the entering University for additional requirements. Each 4-year college or university will have some specific rules that may only apply to that school. Check that school's course guides carefully.

Rule of "Good Standing" means:

• No outstanding campus parking tickets
• No library blocks
• No delinquent academic financial debt
• No disciplinary suspension
• No other red flags on your college record
