First Time in College Students
If you have graduated from high school within the last five years, you will be required to submit an OFFICIAL final high school transcript. If you earned your GED, you must submit GED completion documentation. The transcript will be reviewed to determine if TSI assessment requirements are met by your STARR, TAKS, SAT, or ACT scores.
Submit OFFICIAL transcripts from all accredited colleges or universities attended outside of the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) immediately after applying for admission. DCCCD Board Policy mandates the submission of all transcripts regardless of whether or not you intend to earn a degree with Eastfield College or any DCCCD campus. Official transcripts submitted cannot have a print date over 3 years old.
Students formerly enrolled in a college of the DCCCD who have not attended a DCCCD college in the past 12 months must submit an updated re-admission paper application. If you have official transcripts on file that have a print date of over 3 years, you will be required to submit updated official transcripts upon re-admitting to the college.
NOTE: Eastfield College accepts eScript transcripts; however, Parchment transcripts are not accepted at this time. Additional information on transfer credit can be found here.
