Fletcher begins his seventh year as Head Basketball Coach and Athletic Director at Eastfield College.

In 2010-2011 the harvester finished 19-13 overall and ranked as high as #2 in the nation, they also defeated eventual National Champions Mountain View College in the regional semifinals. The Harvesters lost in the regional tournament championship game for the third straight season. The Harvesters have been ranked in the top 10 in the nation the past five seasons. Fletcher is second in all-time wins for basketball at Eastfield College which started in 1971. 69 of coach Fletcher's players have moved on to play at the four year university level. Fletcher has recruited three All-Americans, Conference MVP, Freshman of the Year players, an Academic All American, All Region players, All Conference players, and a multitude of Division I, II, and NAIA players.

In 2009-2010 the harvesters won the conference championship and split the title of co-champs with Cedar Valley College. The harvesters finished 22-10 overall and was awarded the number 1 seed in the regional tournament in which they finished as the Region V runners up for the second straight season.

In 2008-2009 the harvesters finished 21-11 overall and Region V runners up which computes into reaching the sweet 16 at the NJCAA level. The Harvesters were ranked as high as #3 in the Nation.

In 2007-2008 the harvesters finished 21-10 overall.  Eastfield was ranked #1 in the Nation in November and finished the season ranked 16th in the Nation.

Anthony Fletcher coaching a 2009 game.Prior to being the head coach at Eastfield Fletcher had a two year stint at McLennan Community College. The two seasons at McLennan Fletcher helped guide McLennan back to a National Power House. In 2003-2004 the Highlanders boasted a record of 26-6 and a #18 ranking in the National Poll. In the 2004-2005 season the Highlanders went 23-8 and defeated the eventual National Champions by 17 points on a neutral site. That year McLennan was ranked #19 in the National Poll. Players from those teams went to four year universities such as: University of Cincinnati, Marshall University, Boise State, Jacksonville University, Sam Houston State, UT- San Antonio and others. Prior to the first stint at Eastfield College Fletcher was at Angelo State University. Fletcher served as a graduate assistant coach from 1999-2001 for his alma mater. He served as the recruiting coordinator for Texas High Schools and Junior Colleges and academic advisor for the Ram program, in addition to numerous other administrative duties, he helped guide ASU to the Championship of the Lone Star Conference South Division and an appearance in the NCAA Division II National Tournament in 2001.

Fletcher's teaching experience includes a year at Angelo State, seven years at Eastfield College and two years at McLennan. Fletcher played shooting guard for two seasons at Angelo State University.

He received a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology with a Minor in English from Angelo State in 1999 and his Master degree in Kinesiology from Angelo State University in May of 2002.

Fletcher is married to Courtney Fletcher and they have two children named Madison and Chase.
