This is the beginning course in English as a Second Language for non-native speakers. Emphasis will be on developing students’ basic speaking skills to create a working vocabulary of up to 600 words. Simple grammatical structures and writing skills are introduced. Basic reading, writing and math skills required for entry into the workplace are also introduced.
