Adjectives in Spanish generally follow the nouns which they modify (un libro nuevo). Most adjectives in Spanish terminate in o, which is the masculine form. To form the feminine, change the o to a. In the plural, s is added. To form the feminine, change the a to o. In the plural, s is added. (rojo/roja - rojos/ rojas)
All adjectives always agree in gender and number with the nouns they modify (el libro rojo/los libros rojos). All other adjectives (that is, those which do not terminate in o) have only two forms, one form for the singular and one for the plurals (un libro grande/los libros grandes).
If the adjective terminates in a consonant (fácil, popular) it forms its plural the same way as the nouns which terminate in a consonant, by adding es. (el libro fácil/los libros fáciles.)
