Future Reflexive Verbs:
Ir + a + infinitivo + reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nos, se)
The reflexive pronoun goes at the end and attaches to the reflexive verb.
Acostar, e.g.: Voy a acostarme a las ocho de la noche. (I am going (literally put myself) to bed at eight o’clock tonight)
Vamos a levantarnos temprano mañana. We are going to get up early tomorrow.
Reciprocal Reflexive Verbs
Parecerse and llevarse bein – To look like someone: to get along with someone.
Parecerse – to look like….(Use -a with the verb.) A quién te pareces?
Me parezco a mi padre. Who do you look like? I look like my father.
(me parezco, te pareces, se parece, nos parecemos, se parecen)
Llevarse bien – to get along well with …
¿Te llevarse bien con su hermana? Sí nos llevamos bien.
Do you get along well with your sister? Yes, we get along well.
(me llevo, te llevas, se lleva, nos llevamos, se llevan)
Saying what you were going to do -- IR + a + infinitive in the imperfect tense.
-- iba, ibas ,iba, íbamos, iban
Ibamos a esquiar al jueves, pero ahora dicen que va a llovar.
We were going to ski on Thursday but they said it was going to rain.
Querer and Pensar + Infinitive – in the Imperfect
ía, ías, ía, íamos, ían
Quería acampar en las montañas este verano pero resulta que tengo que trabajar.
I wanted to go camping in the mountains this summer but I had to work.
