Costa and Wright robbed a house. Costa assassinated Wright and kept the bag with the jewels and money. He is going to the station to escape in the first train. In the waiting room (sala de espera) is a woman sitting at his left who engages him in conversation. Annoyed, Costa fakes his boredom, pretending that he is sleepy and wants to sleep but listened as the woman continued to converse. He then opened his eyes and saw sitting at his right, the ghost of Wright. The woman looks right through Costa from side to side with a glance and gossips with the ghost who answers with charm. When the train came Costa tried to get up but was not able. He was paralyzed, mute and astonished, when the ghost tranquilly took the bag and walked with the woman to the platform, now talking and smiling. They got on the train and left. Costa follows them with his eyes. A man came and commenced cleaning the waiting room, which now is completely deserted. He used the vacuum cleaner at the chair where the Costa had been sitting invisible.
