I came to work for DCCCD in 1981 at Cedar Valley as the College Nurse. I had left working in a hospital environment in order to have time to complete a master's degree, and thought I would go back to the hospital after completing my degree. Wrong! I fell in love with DCCCD, and all the opportunities it offered employees! I came to EFC in 1985, as the College Nurse, and also taught part-time in the cont. ed. medical edu. dept., as well as psychology. My years in the DCCCD have been one of the greatest joys of my life.
