Lecture capture is one component of the blended learning environment. Lecture capture is designed to promote engagement in class by providing students with an opportunity to preview or review core principles for the designated lecture. One simple method for recording lectures is through the use of the SMART Technologies record function. The record function is located in SMART Notebook software loaded on most campus learning spaces computers. This technology may readily be loaded to your office computer or downloaded for free on your personal computer.
