On April 13, 2007,
four Science Club students and two Eastfield faculty/staff
attended the TSM Spring meeting. Our intern from West Mesquite
High School (whose experience on our SEM equipment is a
major component of her mentorship class this semester) and
her teacher escort also attended.
The Friday session included a series of research talks and
students had an opportunity to network with materials science
industry professionals as well as academic research biologists.
We presented a talk about the role of the Scanning Electron
Microscopy in our mission of recruiting future scientists.
