The Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) administers over 40 programs that address critical national needs and support the Department of Education's mission of increasing access to quality postsecondary education. There are grant opportunities for the improvement of postsecondary education (FIPSE), Title III - Strengthening Institutions program, international education, programs for serving disadvantaged students, and more.

Eastfield College has been successful at some of the programs OPE administers, such as: TRIO: Student Support Services, Talent Search, and Upward Bound, as well as the Child Care Access Means Parents in School program. These grants total well over $4 million.
