Eastfield College Police Officers are duly sworn peace officers under section 51.203 of the Texas Education Code. Officers are armed and possess the same authority under the law as municipal officers. All Officers regularly attend Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) - approved classes and in-service training to receive updates on current regulations and legislative changes. Officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and provide a full range of other services to the college community.

The annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning buildings or property owned or controlled by Eastfield College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters.
