Officer Pete Nino

Agapito NinoOfficer Nino has been with the Eastfield College Police Department since 2001. He comes to us from the City of Dallas where he retired after 27 years of service. During that time, Officer Nino worked in several divisions including the Water Dept., Code Enforcement, and Hazardous Waste as an inspector. In 1967, Officer Nino was drafted into the United States Army. He served 3 years active duty in the Vietnam War and then 3 years reserve in Laredo Texas. In his 6 years of service, he went from the rank of Private to Sergeant.

Currently, Officer Nino is a member of the ECPD bike patrol. He is a certified TCLEOSE instructor and serves as the Special Events Officer. He is working towards his Intermediate Peace Officer certificate.

Officer Nino is an avid pool player and is currently on 2 pool leagues. He also enjoys spending time with his son.
