Lt.
Hill has been with the Eastfield College Police Department since 1992 starting
as an officer and rising to the rank of Lieutenant in 2000. He worked at our
sister college, El Centro College Police from 1983-1991 as a Lieutenant. Lt.
Hill began his law enforcement career in 1970 while serving in the United States
Air Force from 1970-1974. He completed basic training at Lackland Air Force
base in Texas and was stationed at several Air Force bases in Texas and Colorado
including Vietnam in the Security Police Division. After leaving the Air Force
at the rank of Buck Sergeant, he served two years with the Army National Guard.
Lt. Hill has over 31 years of law enforcement experience ranging from the federal, state, county and city levels. He is the 2nd shift supervisor and is responsible for department operations. Lt. Hill holds an Intermediate Peace Officer certificate and a Jailer license. He is currently working toward his Advanced Peace Officer Certificate. In his spare time he enjoys going to the firing range to enhance his certification skills.
