Eastfield College -- Campus Police

Welcome to the Eastfield College Police Department's web site. We are excited to open up a new avenue of communication with the college community and our visitors. Our Internet presence reflects our department's Community Policing philosophy and our commitment to providing the best service possible.

The mission of the Eastfield College Police Department is to protect life and property within the Dallas County Community College District, to maintain a positive academic environment and to provide professional support services to the college community.

The responsibility for the overall direction and focus of law enforcement and crime prevention rests with the Office of the Chief of Police. Chief Tyler Moore is a career police officer, with almost 20 years of police experience.

For more visibility and officer approachability, the Eastfield College Police Department implemented the use of bicycle patrol. We are planning for implementation of additional community policing efforts in the near future. Faculty and staff members assist the Police Department by reporting suspicious activity, Student Code of Conduct violations, etc..
