Parking Regulations

Speed Limits

The speed limit on college roadways is 20 mph. In parking lots it is reduced to 10 mph.

Accidents

Should a motor vehicle accident occur, contact the EFC Police immediately at 972-860-4290 from any outside (cell) phone.

Parking Areas

Parking for students, staff, faculty, and visitors is conveniently located throughout the campus. Parking for disabled individuals is available in most lots. Vehicles parking in these spaces must clearly display the appropriate designation.

Parking Violations

Campus citations are issued for the first violation when vehicles violate college policies or state traffic laws. Included are: parking in loading zones, fire lanes, restricted areas, on the grass, in striped zones, in walkways or roadways, double parking, and parking in reserved areas or handicapped spots without an official decal.
