Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student board that provides engaging and entertaining activities for the student body of Eastfield College. CAB works to enhancer and unify the Eastfield College community by planning social, educational and cultural events that compliment the academic mission of the college.
Campus Activities Board was originally founded as the Student Programming Board in Fall 2006. In Fall 2009, the name was changed to the Campus Activities Board. CAB members serve as interns in the Office of Student Life.
CAB is made up of volunteer students that are involved in creating and planning entertaining, social, cultural and educational events. From creating promotional materials to idealizing program ideas and developing them, the skills can be applied outside of the campus, workplace and daily lives. CAB values:
First and foremost is that CAB members have fun. From making friends to interacting with students from all over the country, students will develop a number of professional, leadership and life skills. From interaction with all areas of Eastfield College to production companies, agents, sales and catering staffs, you will learn how to work as a team to achieve a common goal for life skills.
